Today local hardware stores and mass chain retailers have began selling organic gardening products. Online shopping can be done any time of day, seven days a week. That is a convenience that brick and mortar stores do not offer.  Purchasing items online is fast, reliable, and safe. You can find items online that you are unable to locate in a store.

If you do not feel secure shopping online, find a phone number for the retailers that you like and ask them to send you a catalog. You can view the catalog at home, and make notes about things you would like to purchase later on. These catalogs can be fun to browse with children or others who share your passion for organic gardening.

Another great resource for finding a great retailer is word of mouth.  Go to you local farmer’s market and ask them who they use for their organic gardening supplies. Chances are they already have a good relationship with a retailer, and can recommend one for you.
