1. Regular exercise is a great way to help lower your stress levels. Try to exercise at least two to three times per week for 30 minutes to an hour at a time.

2. Try to determine what might be causing your specific anxiety. Make a list of everything you can think of here and try to figure out what it is about them that makes you anxious. In other words face your fears and and then work to overcome them.

3. Make it a point to avoid foods and drinks with caffeine. Also stay from alcoholic drinks.

4. Eat a healthy, balanced diet each day. Diet can go a long away towards helping the body to cure itself of problems. 

5. Get plenty of sleep each day. Sleep is vital in maintaining a healthy body and a lack of sleep will make it harder to control your anxiety issues.

6. Talk to your doctor if you are taking any medications. Some drugs may cause anxiety symptoms to worsen.
