5 Fast Weight Loss Tips

If you sit around and think about what you are doing without, you will never be satisfied with what you are eating.

2.Plan to start your diet away from holidays: Thanksgiving and Christmas can send your diet crashing faster than the stock market. You want to be on your new diet at least four weeks before any major eating event is coming up. This way your mind is already trained to portion control, and you are less likely to over eat.

3.Do not get hungry: Hunger is the enemy, and you need to control it.  You should eat several small meals throughout the day to keep from getting hungry. When you let yourself get hungry you are liable to grab the first thing you can stuff in your mouth. Also, fueling the body with food every few hours keeps your metabolism charged.

4.Do not snack when you are not hungry: People tend to snack and eat when they are bored, not hungry. If you are bored and find yourself reaching for those snacks, stop in your tracks and find something else to do. Stop and do some jumping jacks or pushups instead of reaching for the bag of chips. Your waist line will thank you!

5.Eat the right foods at meals:  Stuff yourself with raw vegetables, fruits, or soups. Do not fill up on wasted calories when you eat. If you eat the right foods, you can eat until you are full. If you decide that you really want to eat that cheeseburger, eat only half and put the rest up for later. If you sit down and eat an entire cheeseburger and fries for a meal, then you have consumed more calories in one meal than you are recommended to consume all day.

It is a great idea to use some type of fast diet in order to kick off your new healthy diet. Fasting diets should not be used in an excess of two weeks since you will not receive the nutrients your body needs to maintain during this period. Fasting diets are mainly used to kick start healthy eating, and cleanse your pallet to help prevent you from craving foods you are not supposed to have.
