How To Ease The Symptoms Of Arthritis With A Natural Arthritis Remedy

Have you been diagnosed with some form of arthritis? If so then no doubt you are looking for an arthritis remedy. Or at least something to help relieve the symptoms. Some natural remedies as well as diet and exercise may offer you some relief.

Arthritis is basically an inflammation of the joints. There are two main forms of arthritis:

Rheumatoid Arthritis - This is an inflammation of the joints that is caused by an auto immune problem in the body. It appears to be an inherited genetic defect that causes irregularities in endocrine production. This disease often begins in the fingers and toes of those afflicted. It often causes permanent distortion and disfiguring of the joints in those appendages. Rheumatoid arthritis may attack the joints more when you are ill or under stress and then may subside for a time. This condition can strike at any age from small children to older adults.

Osteoarthritis - This occurs when the body's immune system attacks the cartilage in your joints. Cartilage is a softer material between the joints that protects them from wearing against each other and allows a smooth movement. As cartilage is worn away, the body often produces more bone in the joints to try and make up for the loss. But bone and cartilage are very different and this results in stiff and aching joints. This disease mainly affects older people but it can occur in younger people as well. Shoulders, hip joints, and knees are among the common joints affected by Osteoarthritis.
